Volunteers / Interships

The MCAC has opportunities for volunteers to help with exhibition openings, educational classes, workshops, family days and administrative duties. Paid and unpaid internships are also available in specific areas such as curatorial, education, verbal arts and multimedia.

  • Individual (Basic Membership) £30

Community Art Partnerships £100
Benefits for one organisation, plus:
  • 50% concession on hiring rooms
  • Events in MCAC brochure (when possible)
  • MCAC Administrative and Art Strategy assistance
  • 2 events per year hosted at MCAC free of charge (e.g. exhibition, book launch, reading or open house event)
  • 2 hours of computer time, per week, per group member (when facilities are available)

Friends of Millennium Court Arts Centre

If you have a love for the arts and feel that you can offer more substantial support, perhaps you should become a Friend of Millennium Court. These special Friends will help to lead the MCAC, assisting it in responding quickly to artistic developments and create new opportunities for artists and the public. Members of the Friends and Patrons’ scheme give from £100 to £1,000 yearly.

Benefits for one adult, plus:
  • Two invitations to opening parties and talks
  • Two invites for ‘After Hours’ members’ parties
  • Patrons listed on Patron Honor Roll displayed at the MCAC
High Level Supporters

Higher levels of individual support include Art Ambassadors (£150), Sponsors (£250) and Patrons (£500). These donors who generously give enjoy additional benefits, including intimate gatherings such as contributing member luncheons, After Hours members’ parties, tours with artists, curators and directors, special events and listing on the Patron Honor Roll displayed in the MCAC foyer.

Highest Level Supporters

Higher levels of individual support include Founders (£1,000), Director’s Circle (£1,500), the Education Circle (£2,000), the Exhibition Patrons (£2,500) and the Corporate Sponsors (£5,000). These members receive all of the aforementioned benefits, plus Director’s Dinners, personal events with artists, the opportunity to hold private events at the MCAC, staff benefits and branding opportunities.
