Gallery Number 1 (Main Gallery Space)

MCAC contains two purpose-built gallery spaces providing a platform for showcasing contemporary works by local, national and international artists. Gallery 1 has retained the original market trussed roofing structure. With high ceilings and reserve of natural light it is ideal for large-scale two and three-dimensional works.

Gallery Number 2 (Secondary Gallery Space)

Gallery 2 provides a more intimate space for smaller artworks. This exhibition area has a controlled lighting system ideal for multi-media, digital, video and light-sensitive exhibitions.
