Programmes

Public & Formal Programmes

The MCAC Programme continues to provide a varied educational experience for students of all ages, with courses ranging from the traditional arts and crafts to more contemporary practices. MCAC offers a range of classes and workshops to engage and stimulate everyone from tiny tots to teens to the more mature learner. Be warned, classes fill up quickly so early booking is advisable. Enrolment closes one week before commencement of classes.

Payment for courses/workshops may be made by cash (in person) or by cheque (in person or by post). All cheques should be made payable to ‘The Millennium Court Arts Centre’. All children’s courses require a parental consent form to be completed at the point of enrolment.

Please note: If there are insufficient numbers to run a class, cancellations will be made with refunds. If you require further information, please contact 028 38394415.

We regularly advise our customers of new events and course opportunities by way of quarterly mailshots. As part of our patron care, the Arts Centre operates a free mailing list. If you would like your entry updated or changed, or would like to make an addition, please forward details to MCAC. MCAC values its customer’s opinions and welcomes feedback on exhibitions, events and courses. All comments should be forwarded to Megan Johnston, Arts Manager at the MCAC.

TalksAndTours

Gallery Talks and Tours

As part of our vision to stimulate the arts within the district, MCAC will continue to offer and coordinate any group visits to the Centre for a gallery talk, tour or arts activity.

The guided tours give an examination of the ideas that have informed and influenced the work produced for the show.

The workshops give reference to the show. They involve creating artwork using techniques, materials or styles used in the current exhibition.

Please contact the Education Department to arrange your group's visit.
